As classrooms are crowded, teachers struggle to give individualized attention to each child. The result is that students who are doing well are not challenged to meet their full potential, and those not doing as well, can’t keep up as the classroom moves past their abilities.
The National Science Foundation awarded Socrates with a grant in recognition of its unique innovation
and significant societal benefit
Socrates is a revolutionary learning platform that dynamically adjusts to the individual learning needs of each student across any educational content. Socrates creates individualized learning paths, tracks the progress of each student across thousands of categories at once, and challenges them to meet their maximum potential.
Our lifetime student record moves with the child as they change schools, allowing new teachers to see the details of that child’s abilities and challenges.
Socrates is already deployed in elementary and middle schools. Socrates is directly available to students, teachers, schools, parents/guardians (including for homeschooling) and libraries. Socrates includes Teacher and School Command Center Modules that provide a powerful teacher assistant that lets teachers know when and where each student needs help. The Testing and Benchmarking Module allows teachers to automatically create, administer, grade and compare tests to quickly and with-ease evaluate student progress. The Parent Command Center Module connects the home and classroom.
Best of all, Socrates is fun for the kids, with a growing library of games and engaging gamification. We’ve seen that the more they play, the more they learn as our active users advance 3x faster than a traditional education path.
You folks are AMAZING! I am so excited that brilliant people like you are willing to help children and young adults enter your realm.
